Emotions in music

It’s no doubt that music has played a vital role in our society. It does not matter what culture we are from, everyone loves music, especially love songs. There is nothing better than listening to your favorite type of music after a rough day. Music does not only provide entertainment but also allow emotions of happiness and sadness to arise. There are more and more music has been used in emotional therapy and has remarkable effects. Choosing what type of music to listen in specific situation can bring different result. When people feel heart broken, they tend to choose to listen to sad music, because they can find the sympathy in the melody and lyrics of the song, which make them feel like they are not alone, and there is someone out there understanding what they’ve been through.When people are happy, they could choose the happy song. Therefore, there are a lot of songs in different topics such as wedding, football, dancing. For example, the wedding songs are very popular in the wedding ceremony such as ” In my life”, ” my love’,” let’s stay together”,”that’s how strong my love is”. The football songs ” la la la”, ” we are one”,”Wavin Flag”.

The modern music

More and more different kind of music was published in the world such as pop, hip hop, R&B, rock, country, classic. Many talent singers appeared in the music entertainment such as Taylor Swift, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton. According to period of history, the performance in music have changed to time, now music was combined with more dancing as well as the rap in music. However, one thing which is still maintained is love. We can be easy to find out the song with love topic in any song. The music entertainment today is more and more diversity with many options. Someone like action, they will choose rock, rap, hip hop with the strong melody, the others like the romantic, they like to listen pop, R&P and country. Some modern songs are Good Day, Sugars, Blank Space,..Moreover, it is clearly that there are many different game shows to find out the talent in music. For example, American Idol, the Voice from United States or X factor from England. It was hold every years to find out the talents in music. Therefore, a lot of singers appear in the entertainment, it created a diversity in different kind of music.

Old music

 

When society is more and more developing. Some people forget the ancient music day by day. They could spend time on the modern music. Personally, I love the old songs which I have listen since I was young. To me, I love the lyric  and melody. When I listen it, I feel relaxing. Especially, love is favor in that melody, Some people ask that what is love? Why many people have to get hurt but they still love. That is a big question which I often hear from many people who I know. Especially, the old songs in the 1980s and 1990s are the best songs which I listen. It is clearly that many the famous songs which is still popular until now. For example, the day you went away (M2M), Yesterday (the Beatles), the rose (Bette Midler). I love this songs, I often listen it when I was a 15 years old girl. Whenever I would like to improve my English, I would like to listen it. Day by day, it becomes my habits. I listen any place I can. One of the most famous band is Westlife with 5 boys in group. The most popular songs are My love, You raise me up, I lay my love on you.

What is love in music?

Love is a hot topic which many composer has emotion to write a song. There are many kinds of songs which mention about love. When we are happy, we have the happy song, when we broke up with the heartbreak, we have the songs in depression. The songs reveal our soul, they tell us everything like our emotions. It brings to us many different sympathy. The rose is the love song which I really like. The rose was sang by  Bette Midler in The rose (film) in 1979. I love the lyric from the song.
